For many couples, being married in a church, before God is very important.
At present, at least one of the couple would need to live in the parish or be on the church electoral role in order to be married at Ormskirk Parish Church or Lathom Park Chapel. To find out if you live in our parish you can visit http://www.achurchnearyou.com/parishmap.php and by entering your postcode it will give you the parish you belong to.
The Bishop's guidelines allow us to marry divorcees in specific circumstances.
